Dr. John R. Huriega
Dr. Huriega attended high school in San Antonio. After receiving his bachelor of science degree in zoology from Texas Tech University, Dr. Huriega attended the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio Dental School, where he earned his DDS degree. Following graduation in 1995, the doctor established his practice in his hometown of San Antonio. Dr. Huriega values the opportunity to help patients change their smiles and their lives through full-service preventive, cosmetic, and restorative dentistry.
Dr. Huriega’s professional memberships include the San Antonio District Dental Society, Texas Dental Association, American Dental Association, and Academy of General Dentistry. He is a past member of the Dental Dean’s Alumni Advisory Board and a past Director of the San Antonio District Dental Society.
The doctor and his wife Kristen, have three children – son J.C and twins Grant and Caitlin – and spend as much time as they can participating in their children’s school activities. Dr. Huriega’s other interests include golf, fishing, hunting, and the great outdoors.
